It follows the successful e.One REF500S, supplying bigger dynamics and greater resolution. The innovative design takes stereo performance and musicality to higher levels, delivering outstanding signal transparency and powerful amplification with ultra-low distortion. It features the precise engineering that Bel Canto builds into all its components, and it can serve as the perfect companion to the company's Pre5 Balanced Analog Control Preamplifier (also available from Music Direct).

Driven by award-winning Bel Canto technology, the REF501S expands what is possible for a cool-running, compact stereo amplifier. The proprietary input and voltage gain stages provide incredible resolution, and the high-current output stage can drive practically any loudspeaker load with authoritative control.

The compact size and power of the NCore amplifier is combined with an innovative 5th order loop filter that elevates amplifier technology to new levels of performance. This technology provides ultra-low noise and remarkably low distortion over the entire audio bandwidth. With over 120 decibels of dynamic range performance and 3x lower high-frequency distortion, the REF501S allows you to hear your favorite music with greater clarity and stunning, lifelike dynamics. The new aluminum chassis runs cooler and cleaner for even more signal resolution.

About Bel Canto

Designed and manufactured in Minneapolis, Minnesota, each Bel Canto component is the result of extensive development and testing, combined with precision manufacturing.
