GoldenEar T44 Hybrid Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Pair)

Full-Range Performance. Refined Design. Remarkably Compact.

The GoldenEar T44 brings the performance and engineering philosophy of the acclaimed T66 to a slimmer, more versatile floorstanding design. Combining exceptional clarity, expansive imaging, and deep, authoritative bass, the T44 delivers a remarkably complete listening experience without dominating your living space.

Designed for discerning music lovers and home theater enthusiasts, the T44 combines GoldenEar's signature High-Velocity Folded Ribbon tweeter, a precision-engineered 4.5-inch midrange driver, and an integrated powered bass system in an elegant, acoustically optimized enclosure.

Exceptional Detail and Musical Realism

GoldenEar's High-Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeter delivers remarkable speed, detail, and smooth high-frequency reproduction.

Its low-mass folded diaphragm reproduces subtle musical information with excellent precision, creating an open, spacious soundstage with natural imaging and clarity.

A custom-voiced 4.5-inch cast-basket midrange driver with Multi-Vaned Phase Plug technology complements the tweeter, reproducing vocals and instruments with realistic presence, texture, and definition.

Together, these drivers create the cohesive, engaging sound that has made GoldenEar a favorite among serious music enthusiasts.

Deep Bass Without a Separate Subwoofer

The T44's hybrid design incorporates a powered low-frequency section featuring a 5 × 9-inch long-throw quadratic bass driver and two passive radiators.

A dedicated DSP-controlled amplifier powers the bass system independently, reducing the demands placed on your external amplifier while delivering impressive low-frequency extension and control.

This approach allows the T44 to reproduce the full foundation of music with authority while preserving the clarity and natural presentation of the upper frequencies.

For dedicated home theater installations or particularly demanding rooms, an additional subwoofer can be integrated for even greater low-frequency impact.

Sophisticated Engineering. Beautiful Design.

The T44's curved, acoustically optimized cabinet is engineered to reduce unwanted resonance and coloration.

A substantial cast-aluminum base provides stability, while adjustable outrigger spikes and protective pads accommodate different flooring surfaces.

Available in elegant Piano Black and striking Santa Barbara Red, the T44 combines contemporary styling with serious loudspeaker engineering.
