Breathtaking Transparency. Effortless Power. Extraordinary Musical Realism.

Discover a new level of high-end audio performance with the MartinLogan Expression ESL 13A, a remarkable powered hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker from MartinLogan's prestigious Masterpiece Series.

Combining a massive 44-inch XStat CLS electrostatic panel with dual powered 10-inch woofers, the Expression ESL 13A delivers exceptional transparency, breathtaking imaging, and deep, authoritative bass.

From the subtle textures of an intimate jazz performance to the full impact of a symphony orchestra, these speakers reproduce music with astonishing clarity, precision, and emotional involvement.

Legendary Electrostatic Performance

The Expression ESL 13A features MartinLogan's advanced 44 × 13-inch XStat CLS electrostatic transducer, offering an impressive 572 square inches of radiating area.

Its ultra-lightweight diaphragm responds with extraordinary speed, reproducing vocals and instruments with natural realism, precise placement, and a spacious, three-dimensional soundstage.

MartinLogan's rigid AirFrame Blade construction supports the panel while minimizing unwanted resonance and preserving its distinctive open sound.

Powerful, Room-Optimized Bass

Each Expression ESL 13A incorporates two 10-inch high-excursion aluminum-cone woofers, each powered by its own 300-watt Class-D amplifier.

With 600 watts of dedicated bass amplification per speaker, the Expression ESL 13A delivers remarkable low-frequency authority extending to 24 Hz.

MartinLogan's PoweredForce Forward bass technology and 24-bit Vojtko DSP engine provide precise bass control and integration with the electrostatic panel.

Anthem Room Correction

The Expression ESL 13A supports Anthem Room Correction (ARC), allowing the powered bass system to be calibrated for the acoustics of your listening environment.

Using compatible calibration equipment, sold separately, ARC helps minimize room-related bass irregularities for a more balanced, accurate listening experience.
