Onkyo Icon A-50 Network Integrated Amplifier

The Onkyo Icon A-50 brings serious two-channel performance, modern streaming and room correction together in one beautifully engineered integrated amplifier.

Delivering 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 180 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the A-50 has the power and control to drive everything from compact bookshelf speakers to demanding floorstanding designs.

At its heart is Onkyo's three-stage Inverted Darlington amplifier topology, designed for high-current delivery with low distortion. Onkyo's proprietary DIDRC circuitry further reduces high-frequency noise from digital sources for a cleaner, smoother and more natural presentation.

Modern Hi-Fi Without the Compromises

The A-50 combines traditional analog connectivity with virtually everything today's listener could want.

Stream directly using Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, TuneIn, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, or integrate the A-50 into a Roon Ready system.

A premium 32-bit/768kHz DAC handles digital sources, while HDMI ARC makes it easy to bring better two-channel sound to your television.

Vinyl listeners aren't left out either. The A-50 includes a dedicated MM/MC phono input, allowing it to work with a wide range of moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges without requiring a separate phono preamplifier.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Every listening room affects the sound of a system. That's why the A-50 includes Dirac Live Room Correction Suite Stereo, allowing the amplifier to compensate for acoustic problems in your room.

Dirac Live Limited provides correction from 20Hz to 500Hz, with an optional paid upgrade available for full-bandwidth correction.

The result is tighter bass, improved imaging and a more balanced listening experience tailored to your actual room.

Built for Serious Listening

The Icon Series represents a return to dedicated high-performance two-channel audio for Onkyo.

The A-50 uses a rigid chassis, a 5mm extruded aluminum front panel, custom 10,000µF capacitors, copper bus bars, aluminum heat sinks and a fanless design to reduce vibration, electrical noise and unwanted mechanical noise.

The result is an amplifier built not simply around features, but around sound quality.
